Privacy Policy

1. Data protection at a glance

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. Detailed information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy set out below.

2. Controller

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Hugo Andersson Sales GbR
Uhlandstraße 32, 10719 Berlin, Germany
Represented by the partners Hugo Andersson and Francisco Silva
Phone: +49 30 82689286
Email: [email protected]

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as there is no legal obligation to do so. If you have any questions regarding data protection, please contact the controller named above.

3. Your rights

You have the right at any time:

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR;
  • to request the correction of incorrect data or completion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, unless statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds preclude this;
  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR (data portability);
  • to object to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided the processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR;
  • to withdraw consent once given at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR;
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.

Competent supervisory authority: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin.

4. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

If the processing of your personal data is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Hosting

We host the content of our website with the following provider:

OVH (OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France).

When you visit our website, the provider records various log files including your IP address. The hosting provider is used for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online service by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data processing takes place within the European Union.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the provider pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. This is a contract required by data protection law which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

6. Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose the server log files must be recorded.

7. Cookies and consent

Our website partly uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and cause no harm. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies can be “session cookies” (automatically deleted after your visit) or persistent cookies (which remain stored until you delete them).

We distinguish the following categories:

  • Technically necessary cookies – required for the website to function technically. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and § 25 (2) TDDDG. These cookies cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics/statistics cookies – help us understand how visitors interact with the website. These are only set with your consent.
  • Marketing/tracking cookies – used to make advertising more relevant. These are also only set with your consent.

Insofar as cookies or other technologies are not technically necessary, we only use them on the basis of your consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Managing and disabling cookies: You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

8. Tracking and analytics technologies

Insofar as we use web analytics or tracking services (e.g. for reach measurement or to optimise our offer), this is done exclusively with your express consent via our consent banner. Information about your use of the website (including a shortened IP address, device and browser information) may be processed and, where applicable, transmitted to third-party providers.

Should personal data be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA (third countries), we ensure an adequate level of data protection through appropriate safeguards – in particular the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.

9. Contact and contact form

If you contact us via the contact form or email, your details (in particular name, company, email address, telephone number and your message) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The data submitted via the contact form is forwarded to us by email.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) if this was requested.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

10. Storage duration

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g. tax or commercial retention periods); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these reasons no longer apply.

11. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
